The EasyIEP™ web-based special education data-management system has been designed to automate the individualized education program (IEP) for all eligible students with disabilities receiving services in Houston ISD. Seventeen Houston ISD schools participated in the soft launch of the system in April, followed by a district wide launch in August 2011.
EasyIEP™ is now the special education system of record for Houston ISD. EasyIEP™ will not only help to ensure that records for special education students contain the most up-to-date information but will hold everyone involved in the development and implementation of a student IEP accountable.
EasyIEP™ user can obtain resource guides from the Houston ISD or PCG websites when logged into either system. The Houston ISD EasyIEP™ Command Center and the Houston ISD Help Desk provide support personnel to answer a variety of user questions.
